Meet Khepri – A Bright, Playful, and Sunshine-Filled Malinois Ready for His Forever Home!
Meet Khepri—a 7-month-old male Belgian Malinois puppy whose name comes from the ancient Egyptian god of the rising sun and new beginnings. It’s a fitting title, because Khepri is truly “sunshine on paws!” Rescued and thriving in Central Texas, this shiny, happy boy is house-trained, up-to-date on vaccines, and ready to start an incredible new chapter with a forever family of his own.
Khepri is tracking to be a handsome, large dog (61–100 lbs) and is currently at the absolute prime age for bonding and training. He wakes up every morning with a tail-wagging agenda: play, investigate, make friends, zoom, and repeat! True to his Malinois heritage, Khepri is exceptionally smart and learns at lightning speed, already having mastered his house-training and his very first obedience commands.
This social, fun-loving pup is a total sweetheart across the board. Khepri loves people and gets along wonderfully with kids, other dogs, and even cats! His curious, goofy nature makes him an absolute joy to have around, whether he is showing off his funny antics in the yard or eagerly focusing on his next training session. He is the ultimate blank slate for an active handler or family ready to help him channel his bright mind into becoming an extraordinary adult working-breed companion.
Khepri is the complete package—a brilliant, playful, and deeply loyal best friend who will bring warmth, laughter, and endless energy to your home every single day.
If you’re searching for an intelligent, social, and sunshine-filled companion to join you on life’s adventures—Khepri is ready to meet you!

Something to Consider:
Puppies don't train themselves
If you aren’t willing to train a puppy every single day, don’t get a puppy! It isn’t a one-shot deal. You have to be dedicated. And if you aren’t making progress – find someone who can help. Enroll in a puppy training class or hire a trainer. Most cities across the nation have some sort of availability for this kind of help and at different cost levels that would fit your budget.
Puppies are going to poop a lot and pee even more; chew on everything; bite everyone; scratch people and furniture; steal things; destroy something at some point; pull on the leash; not move at all on the leash; bark; cry; beg for attention; and the list goes on. You’re going to have to walk them, bathe them, pick up everything below waist height, buy new shoes, and most importantly: TRAIN THE PUPPY NOT TO DO THESE THINGS! Ultimately, it is your responsibility to teach your puppy that this behavior is unacceptable.
Puppies turn into dogs...
This is going to happen every time and incredibly fast. Please, the next time you have the thought, “I want a puppy!” replace the word “PUPPY” with “DOG.”
If your excitement goes down, even the slightest amount, don’t get a puppy.
The average lifespan for a dog is 12 years. The wondrous smell of puppy breath only last a few months. This means you have waaay more time owning a dog than a puppy. We frequently have puppies returned to us for a variety of reasons. Often this results in an extremely adoptable 8 week old puppy being returned a few months later as an 8 month old train-wreck.
And… if you just ‘honest to God’ love puppies and wish they never turned into dogs, we have a great option for you – you can foster puppies! You get to help a life in need, get all the fun that comes along with puppies, and never have to have a dog! WIN, WIN!!! Please visit our fostering page for more information.
